11Locust’s Main House provides enchanting, old-world charm with eclectic design in a vintage 1900 Victorian. Wealthy San Franciscan city dwellers started coming to Marin by ferry in the late 1800’s for the summers and the 11 Locust property stands as living history of that time and is part of the historical register of Larkspur. The main house has 3 bedrooms 1 bath and features the period’s high ceilings and molding details. The property is surrounded by lush gardens on all sides and is an oasis for the senses.

11Locust apartment
Nestled toward the back of the property, this second floor vaulted one-bedroom unit is at once private and central to all you want to discover in the area. Comfort is a glowing theme of the apartment with just the perfect amount of softness in a bed with luxurious linens, plush towels and fluffy pillows. Bohemian chic is woven throughout this cozy, nest-like dwelling with selected textiles, furniture and art, collected on travels abroad. Walls and ceilings are all white to reflect the light and the windows bring in the fresh breezes and fragrances from the garden below.

11Locust studio
This is the ground level of the carriage house adjacent to the main house. This romantic, private and cozy pied a terre has its own private garden accessed from French doors off the bathroom. The light filled studio layout has windows on all sides and a large size bathroom complete with claw foot tub. The space has a desk area, small living area, kitchenette and sleeping area with queen bed, plus separate bathroom. The unit is thoughtfully appointed with antiques, handcrafted rustic furniture pieces, aesthetically pleasing artwork and sumptuous bedding and towels. The outdoor garden features a round table for dinners alfresco and an outdoor sofa for reclining with your favorite book.
